Chicken Curry with Potatoes - Quick
and tasty Chicken Curry in Pressure Cooker
A very easy and quick way to make a simple chicken curry in pressure cooker.
It can be made quickly and tastes great with rice or chappati.
Ingredients -
Chicken - Gms
For Marination -
Ginger Garlic Paste - tbsp
Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
Red chilli Powder - 1/2 tsp
Jeera / Cumin Powder - 1 tsp
Dhania / Coriander Powder - 1 tsp
Curd / Yogurt - half cup
Salt - half tsp
For Gravy -
Oil - 2-3 tbsp
Bayleaves -2
Cardamom- 2
Cinamon stick - 2
Chopped Onion - 1
Onion Paste - 1 Big
Tomato Puree - 1 Cup
Salt To Taste
Potatoes - 2 Big cut into big pieces
Garam Masala Powder - 1/2 tsp
Water - 1 cup
Chopped Coriander leaves - 1 tbsp
Method -
Mix chicken with all the ingredients
in the marination list and marinate for 1-2 hours.
Heat oil in pressure cooker.
Add the bayleaves, cinamonand
caradamom.
Add chopped onions. Fry till golden
brown.
Add the marinated chicken.
Add onion paste . Saute well.
Add tomato puree & salt to taste.
Add the potatoes. Mix well.
Add water. Add garam masala powder.
Pressure cook upto one whistle on
high and then switch off.
Garnish with chopped coriander
leaves.
Serve hot with rice or chappati !!
