This is a very easy to make coconut chutney and can be enjoyed with Idli / Dosa/ Uttapam or Rice
This can be made with very few ingredients and tastes awesome.
The addtion of roasted chana dal (Bengal Gram) makes the taste and the texture really good.
INGREDIENTS :-
1) Coconut Pieces - 1 Cup
2) Chana Dal (Splitted Bengal Gram) - Half Cup Roasted
3) Green Chilly - 2
4) Mustard Seeds - 1 Teaspoon
5) Dry Red Chilly -1
6) Oil - 1 Tablespoon
7) Salt To Taste
PREPARATION :-
Take a Grinder / Blender and add Coconut Pieces, Roasted Chana Dal, Green Chilly and Salt.
Add Little water and blend till smooth.
Heat one pan and add one tablespoon of oil.
Add 1 teaspoon mustard seeds and one red chilly broken.
Sute well and splutter. Add these tempering on top of the chutney.
Serve the vhutney with Idly, Dosa, Uttapam or Rice and Enjoy.
